Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a photography session?
Visit Choose Your Session, select your service and package, choose an available date and time, and enter your details. Review your payment terms and complete secure checkout to confirm your session.
How do deposits and remaining balances work?
Individual Headshots are paid in full at booking. For all other services, appointments within seven calendar days of booking require full payment. For appointments more than seven calendar days away, pay 30% at booking; the remaining 70% is due seven calendar days before the session, at the session’s scheduled time. Calendar dates are calculated in Eastern Time.
Corporate Event Photography’s initial 30% is a nonrefundable retainer. Where a balance remains, checkout requests authorization to save your card securely with Square and collect that balance on its due date.
Do you offer studio and on-location photography?
Individual and Team Headshots have studio and mobile options. Branding Sessions are available in studio or on location. Corporate Event and Workplace & Marketing Photography take place on location.
Included local travel covers a 15-mile straight-line radius of Village at Sandhill in Columbia, SC. Locations outside this area require a custom quote.
When will I receive my edited photographs?
Team Headshots: seven business days. Branding Sessions and Workplace & Marketing Photography: ten business days. Corporate Event Photography: fourteen business days.

Where is the studio, and how do I receive arrival instructions?
Marquise sends the private studio address and arrival instructions separately after your booking is confirmed. Village at Sandhill is the public travel-area reference, not the studio meeting address.
What are the cancellation and rescheduling policies?
All services include one complimentary reschedule with at least seven calendar days’ notice, subject to availability.
For Individual Headshots, Team Headshots, Branding Sessions, and Workplace & Marketing Photography, cancellation at least seven calendar days before the session receives a full refund. With less notice, or for a no-show, 30% of the total booking price is retained and any additional amount paid is refunded. For fully paid Individual Headshots, this means a 70% refund for a late cancellation.
For Corporate Event Photography, the 30% retainer is nonrefundable and transfers to an eligible rescheduled date. Cancellation at least seven calendar days before the event retains 30% of the total price. With less notice, 65% is retained: the 30% retainer plus half of the remaining 70% balance. Payments above that amount are refunded. Corporate Event no-shows require manual review; no automatic penalty is applied.
If Marquise cancels, you may receive a full refund or agree on an alternative date. Refunds never exceed payments collected, and additional penalties are not automatically charged beyond amounts already collected without verified authorization. Disputed or uncertain cases are reviewed individually.
